How to request deletion

SastyBed handles account deletion by email so we can verify the request belongs to you. Send us an email from the address registered on your account and we’ll take care of the rest.

What to include

• Your registered name and email address.
• Your registered phone number (helps us verify the account).
• Your account type — student or hostel owner.
• An optional reason, if you’d like to share it.

Sending from your registered email lets us confirm the request quickly. Using the button above pre-fills these fields for you.

What gets deleted

We delete your profile, login credentials, identity/KYC documents, saved hostels, messages and other personal data associated with your account. Some records may be retained where the law requires it (for example, transaction records for tax/audit).

Before you request deletion

• Hostel owners: if you’d like a copy of your records, export your rooms, students, bookings, payments and expenses (PDF/CSV) from the Reports page first — deletion is permanent.
• Students: please settle or close any active booking or stay with your hostel before requesting deletion.

How long it takes

We action verified requests promptly. Your account is deactivated and scheduled for deletion, and backups are permanently purged within 90 days, in line with our Privacy Policy.
